Apollo is recognized as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality”

We are proud that Apollo has achieved 100% on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and named one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality” for the second year in a row.

The CEI is the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices for LGBTQ+ workplace equality. To receive this distinction, Apollo met four essential standards:

• Workforce protections
• Equitable benefits for LGBTQ colleagues and their families
• Supporting an inclusive culture
• Engaging with the LGBTQ+ Community and Corporate Responsibility

At Apollo, we believe diverse and inclusive teams make us better, and our efforts are focused on creating meaningful impact and expanding opportunity for all. Over the last year, we have enhanced our processes and implemented programs to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace through continued development, engagement, and community-building opportunities. We are proud of the progress to date, including:

• Growing the Apollo Pride network which was founded in 2020 and now has a large global membership base of LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies
• Partnering with our Human Capital team to ensure that our Benefits offerings are inclusive of LGTBQ+ families and trans healthcare needs
• Strengthening Apollo’s relationship with organizations like Out Leadership and Out & Equal, who provide us with tools and resources to educate and support our broader Apollo community and inform our DEI strategy

This recognition and top score are a testament to our continued commitment to supporting an inclusive culture and empowering our employees to do what is right.
