Vikram Kavthekar is Partner, Insurance Solutions Group at Apollo, having joined Apollo Insurance Solutions Group (AISG) in 2009. He manages asset portfolio strategy and execution for Apollo and Athene’s M&A, Retail, and Reinsurance platforms, and oversees portfolio and cash management functions for the insurance balance sheets. He is also a member of AISG’s Investment Committee, Management Operating Committee, and Investment Practices Committee. Prior to joining AISG, Vikram worked as an associate at Lahde Capital Management, and at Intel Corporation as an analog circuit design engineer before that.

Vikram earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management.
