Theo Kwon is the Chief Operating Officer of Apollo Aligned Alternatives (“AAA”) and a Member of the AAA Investment and Oversight Committees. Prior to joining AAA in 2023, Mr. Kwon was a member of Apollo’s Private Equity group since 2015.

Prior thereto, Mr. Kwon was a Vice President at Angelo, Gordon & Co., a member of the Private Equity group at Weston Presidio and he began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Citigroup.

Mr. Kwon also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Phoenix Education Partners (NYSE: PXED), Board Trustee of the University of Phoenix and Board Director of Apollo Enterprise Strategies, and previously served on the board of directors of Vanta Education, The Fresh Market and Tegra Global. Mr. Kwon also serves as a Board Director of The Korea Society.

Mr. Kwon graduated with a BS in Economics and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
