Jeffrey Sayers

Jeff is a Partner in the FIG & Strategy group at Apollo focusing on asset and liability coverage of the UK insurance market. Prior to joining the FIG & Strategy team, Jeff served as Partner, Head of ISGI for the firm. Jeff has spent over 30 years in the insurance industry, most recently at Lloyds Banking Group where he held a number of roles over 8 years. Including, Managing Director for the Pensions and Investments business of Scottish Widows, and the stockbroking business of Lloyds Banking Group; CEO of Scottish Widows Unit Trust Managers & HBOS Investment Fund Managers; Chief Investment Officer for Scottish Widows; Chief Risk Officer for Scottish Widows and for Lloyds Bank's Insurance businesses and Chairman of Lloyds Bank DC Pension Fund.

Previously Jeff spent 11 years at Morgan Stanley where he was a Managing Director and Head of European Insurance and Head of UK Insurance within Global Capital Markets.

Jeff has a degree in Maths from Oxford, and is qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
