Jasjit Singh is a Partner and leads Apollo’s Multi-Credit Investment Strategy. Jasjit was Chief Risk Officer for Apollo from 2014 to 2022 before transitioning into his new role. He has 25+ years of relevant experience in the finance industry in areas such as proprietary trading, structuring, strategic asset allocation, variable annuities, insurance ALM and liability pricing, derivatives and risk management. He joined Apollo in 2009 and has played a key role in building and internalizing the Risk infrastructure, in standing up the variable annuity business of Apollo. He is primarily focused on developing, implementing and monitoring Apollo's strategic asset allocation across multi-credit portfolios, as well as optimizing funding / liquidity for all balance sheets. In addition, Jasjit co-leads Quantitative Analytics for the firm. Jasjit also leads Apollo’s derivatives hedging. Previously, Jasjit managed the North America proprietary structured credit trading book at Lehman Brothers’ Principal Strategies division. Prior to Lehman, Jasjit was at Deutsche Bank where he held positions with increasing levels of responsibilities within Corporate and Investment Banking in several of Deutsche Bank’s global offices.

Jasjit has an M.A. in Mathematics of Finance, Columbia University; an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School; an M.B.A. from Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi; and a degree in Electrical Engineering from PEC, Chandigarh, India.
