Anna Smith

Anna V. Smith is a Managing Director, Financial Institutions Group (FIG) & Strategy where she primarily focuses on the development and implementation of global strategy for key strategic initiatives. She joined Apollo in 2022 to lead the Transformation Management team, leading transformation and change initiatives across Apollo. Prior to joining Apollo, she was a Managing Director at Barclays focusing on Strategy. Throughout her career, Anna has worked across financial services, including spending over ten years at Goldman Sachs in their Investment Management Division and Goldman Sachs Bank USA.

Anna graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University where she received her bachelor’s degree. Anna received her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated as a Palmer Scholar. She serves on the board of directors of Irish Repertory Theatre, an off-Broadway theatre based in New York City.
