Aaron Welsh is Partner, Real Assets at Apollo, where he is responsible for originating bridge and permanent first mortgage, mezzanine, and preferred equity in commercial real estate. Prior to joining in 2017, Aaron was Managing Director in the Origination Group at Ladder Capital. Before that, he was Co-Head of the Real Estate Structured Finance Group and its Head of Origination at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He previously worked at Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers, and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Aaron graduated with distinction from Pennsylvania State University with a BS degree in Finance and a minor in Real Estate.
