Joey Romeo is a Partner at Apollo focused on multi-strategy investments across the infrastructure space. In his role, he oversees origination and portfolio management efforts across a range of capital intensive industries including energy, transportation, manufacturing, and defense, among others. Prior to joining Apollo in 2013, he was a member of GE Capital’s Energy Financial Services group focused on principal investments in the energy sector. Joey currently serves on the boards of Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, Hav Energy LNG, WattEV, Petros PACE, and Freestone Renewables. He previously served on the boards of Apex Energy, Caelus Energy Alaska, Northwoods Energy, Phoenix Services and Spartan Acquisition Corp. II & III where he was involved in the business combinations with Fisker Inc., Sunlight Financial and Allego N.V.

Joey received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
