Edward Charlesworth

Ed Charlesworth is Managing Director, Credit at Apollo, where he is responsible for ensuring credit underwriting processes across Europe, APAC, Emerging Markets and High Grade Capital Solutions are rigorous and consistent. He is a voting member of all relevant Credit Investment Committees including the Large Transaction Credit Investment Committee.

Ed joined Apollo in 2019 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he held a number of senior roles across Wholesale Credit and Credit Risk. He brings more than 25 years of credit and risk management experience across multiple asset classes including Leverage Finance, Structured Credit, High Grade Credit and Emerging Markets.

Edward graduated from Oxford University with a Master of Arts in Music.
