Olivia Wassenaar is a Partner, Head of Apollo Infrastructure Group and a member of the Firm’s Leadership Team. She leads the Firm's multi-asset investment strategy and funds focused on investing in infrastructure and the energy transition. At Apollo, Olivia has overseen investments across a variety of sectors, including power, renewables, transportation and digital infrastructure, among others. She serves on the boards of several Apollo funds' portfolio companies including FlexGen, Takkion, Energos Infrastructure and Total Operations and Production Services (TOPS).
Prior to joining Apollo, Olivia was a Managing Director at Riverstone Holdings, where she was a member of the investment team for 10 years. Previously, she worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division, where she focused on renewable energy sector coverage. Olivia started her career in the Environment Department at The World Bank Group. She received her AB, magna cum laude, from Harvard College, attended the Yale School of the Environment, and received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
