Akila Grewal is a Partner and Global Head of the Institutional Client Group at Apollo Global Management, overseeing institutional sales and product. In her role, Ms. Grewal is responsible for all of Apollo’s institutional client relationships, capital formation, product strategy and distribution. She is a member of the Firm’s Leadership Team and Allocations Committee, as well as the Credit Executive Management team, which helps set strategy for the credit platform and execute on key priorities. Akila serves on the boards of PK AirFinance and Stable Asset Management, and on the New York City board of the nonprofit Braven. Prior to joining in 2016, Akila was on the Proprietary Trading and Risk Management team at Mariner Investment Group. Previously, she worked in the Business Development group at MKP Capital and began her career at Credit Suisse on the Hedge Fund of Fund’s Portfolio Management team. Akila graduated from New York University's Stern School of Business with a BS in Finance and is a CFA charterholder.
