John Cortese

Mr. Cortese is a Partner and Co-Head of Corporate Credit at Apollo Asset Management. He is also responsible for its Trading and Portfolio Management businesses. Prior to joining in 2021, John was Co-Head of US Credit Trading at Barclays. John is Vice-Chair of the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Metro & Western NY branch. He also sits on the Board of Advisors to Dartmouth College's Hopkins Center for the Arts. John graduated from Dartmouth with a BA in Economics and is a CFA charter holder.
